Admission criteria

To be admitted to the SSC, in addition to obtaining and presenting all of the necessary documents, international students must:

  1. Be willing to live a cultural immersion experience and commit to be involved in the school’s student life;
  2. Wish to learn the French language and be ready to make the necessary efforts to that effect;
  3. Have good academic results and demonstrate good behaviour.
  4. To be between 12 and 17 years old.

Admission procedure

The admission is done through three steps and the SSC staff guides you throughout the process:

Step 1.
Filing of application

  • Complete the application form.
  • Submit a copy of the report card for the last three school years.
  • Present a copy of the student's and parents' passports.

Step 2.
Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ)

Once the student's application is accepted, the SSC sends additional documents to be completed in order to prepare a CAQ application.

Step 3.
Study Permit / Visa

The final step is the obtention of a study permit and a visa (if necessary) by submitting the required documents to a Canadian embassy of the country of origin.
